 Happy #transformationtuesday! 🤍 We are SO proud of how this bathroom turned out. 😍 This client wanted to totally transform her kids' bathroom (before her own, no less -- what a good mom! 😇), and we were able to do so for much less than she was thinking.  And we had to make sure that it was gender neutral, as it was boy and girl siblings sharing it. Challenge accepted!! 💪🏼👏🏼 Now, the kids have an updated and much more modern space that will last them for years! 🥰 Scroll all the way down for the before!

 Mondays are rarely fun, but at least you can shop this gorgeous Mid-Century Modern bedroom! Woven and natural materials, clean lines and a more simplistic look...yes, please!! 

 I so wish I would have gotten a full "before" picture of this music room, because these #transformationtuesday pictures don't even do it justice! 🎸 These clients wanted to change the vibe of the whole space and make it feel more moody and creative-inducing.  You KNOW my first thought went to paint, and this Sherwin-Williams paint color completely achieved that!  😎 Then, adding a classy and visually light brass chandelier was like the cherry on top! 🤗

I always tell clients “It’s already going to be pretty. We just need to make sure it’s functional!” 🙌🏻 This entry is the epitome of that for a couple of reasons: ✨ When we decided we were going to put in new flooring, we had the option to continue it onto the stairs and foyer. We chose not to, first of all to have it truly stand out design-wise, but also because if we did that, it wouldn’t give a lot of contrast between the regular flooring and steps. Thus, making it a HUGE tripping hazard. Any time you have steps, and even if you’re planning to use the same flooring, it’s SO important to distinguish it is some way. That way, your eyes recognize it and are able to note the differing heights.   ✨ One way to do that is with a different color or tile riser, which is very popular right now. But it can even be a simple and laying the flooring in a different direction on the step piece. Or, you can do it in a completely different material all together, like we chose to do here....

  I'm pretty passionate about making every space beautiful....but especially the laundry room. 🥰 Why? 👀 Because we spend SO much time in there doing something that MOST people don't like.  (Amy Beaver, you're an anomaly!) I just love how this one came out, and even though we still need to find a good rug, I am so excited to share it with you! 🤍 Make sure to scroll all the way down for the before!

Want to know one of the things I'm asked to do most in kitchens nowadays? 🤔  Remove that bar height or pony wall countertop!  🤯  If you look closely from the before picture (swipe ⬅️), it totally blocks off the line of sight into the other room.  But with the after pics, you can see it completely opens and brightens up the space.  😍 Plus, making it all one level is actually way more functional, because it adds counterspace and also is more durable being one single slab piece! 💪🏻

To say I feel like I have the best job in the world would be an understatement! 💃 We are so thrilled with how this kitchen transformation turned out, and now we finally get to share the results! 🎉🥂  It went from dated builder grade to a complete reflection of this client's functional and aesthetic preferences! 🧐 And that countertop! This kitchen nook was the PERFECT space for this cute little banquette we consulted on, and it's crazy the difference that it made! 🥰 Topped with the perfect custom cushion, this busy family not only has way more seating, but it actually looks much larger and brighter than before!
